Video: Finding Purpose After Suicide Loss

If you or someone you know is in crisis, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or to text “Talk” to 741741. The Lifeline provides 24/7 free, confidential support and resources.

Our colleague, Brian, knows the devastating pain of losing a loved one to mental illness. His only brother, Bobby, died of suicide in his early 20s. Today, Brian’s passion for the Lundbeck Purpose is fueled by love for his brother and a commitment to honor his memory.

As a suicide survivor, he understands that his efforts to make a positive difference in the life of someone living with mental illness could have a ripple effect throughout an entire family. And he hopes that in sharing his story, he will encourage others to open up about their own experiences with mental illness and suicide.

Watch Bobby’s, and Brian’s, story below.
