Nelson’s story: living with schizophrenia

Meet Nelson, who is living with schizophrenia. The Tennessee resident manages his disease with medication and maintains a steady job and regular activities. But his journey to today involved a years-long struggle with addiction, homelessness and delusions.

At Lundbeck, we are committed to reducing the stigma of mental illness and removing barriers to care. By sharing the stories of people like Nelson, we aim to raise awareness of schizophrenia, and shed light on the importance of support, treatment and early intervention.
